VACATE
Solana rent refunds

Your dead token accounts owe you SOL.

Every token you've ever held opened an account that locks ~0.00204 SOL in rent — and it stays locked after the token is gone. Scan your wallet, close the empty accounts, and get that SOL back in under a minute.

VACATE·SOLANA·RENT

Three steps. Under a minute.

Rent refunds are built into Solana itself — closing an empty account returns its deposit to you. Vacate just makes it painless.

1

Connect & scan

Connect your wallet and Vacate reads your token accounts straight from the chain. The scan is read-only — no approval, no signature, no risk.

2

Review the receipt

Empty accounts are pre-selected. Dust tokens can optionally be burned to unlock their rent too — but only if you tick them yourself. NFTs and active balances are never touched.

3

Sign & get paid

Approve the batched transactions in your wallet. The rent lands back in your balance immediately — you keep 98%, Vacate takes 2% of what it recovers.

Built to be boring about safety.

Non-custodial

Your keys stay yours

Vacate never sees your private key and can't move anything on its own. Every action is a transaction you review and sign in your own wallet.

Transparent

Price before you sign

The receipt shows exactly what gets closed, what the fee is, and what you'll receive — down to the lamport — before anything happens. Every batch is simulated first.

Protective

NFTs are off-limits

Accounts holding NFTs, frozen accounts and anything with a real balance are excluded automatically. Only what you explicitly select gets processed.

Fast

Batched & instant

Hundreds of accounts are packed into a handful of transactions with live priority fees, so the whole cleanup confirms in seconds.

Refer wallets. Get paid on-chain.

Your address is your referral code. Friends who claim through your link pay a lower fee, and half of what Vacate collects is transferred to you inside the very transaction they sign. No sign-up, no dashboard, nothing to claim later.

Questions, answered.

What is Solana rent, and why can I get it back?
Solana charges a small storage deposit ("rent") for every account on the chain — about 0.00204 SOL per token account. When you sell or send away all of a token, its account sticks around, empty, still holding that deposit. Closing the account returns the deposit to you. That's a native Solana feature, not a trick.
Is this safe?
The scan is read-only. Closing only applies to accounts with a zero balance (or ones you explicitly tick for burning), every batch is simulated before your wallet is even asked to sign, and every transaction is built in your browser and signed by you in your own wallet. You can inspect it in your wallet before approving — you'll see it's just account closures plus the fee transfers.
Will I lose tokens or NFTs?
No. Empty accounts contain nothing to lose. NFTs, frozen accounts and tokens with balances are excluded automatically. The only exception is the optional "burn dust" section: if you tick a dust token yourself, that token is destroyed to unlock its account's rent — it's off by default and clearly marked.
How much does it cost?
2% of the SOL actually recovered — or 1.75% if you arrived through someone's referral link — taken in the same transaction, plus Solana's network fee of about 0.000005 SOL per transaction. If nothing is recovered, you pay nothing to Vacate.
How does the referral program work?
Share your link — it's just this site's address with ?ref=your-wallet at the end. When someone claims through it, they pay 1.75% instead of 2%, and 50% of the collected fee is sent to your wallet in the same transaction they sign. It's enforced by the transaction itself, so payouts are instant and verifiable on Solscan. Self-referrals don't count.
How much can I expect to get?
Each empty account returns ~0.00204 SOL. Casual wallets often have 10–50 of them; active memecoin traders can have hundreds. A wallet with 200 dead accounts gets back roughly 0.4 SOL.
Which wallets work?
Any wallet that speaks the Solana Wallet Standard — Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and most others are detected automatically. On mobile, open this site inside your wallet's built-in browser.
